Two of America’s most iconic franchises have collaborated on a new collection, reuniting The Simpsons and Vans for the first time in 13 years.
America’s most famous family have dropped in at TOWER. A tribute to 30 years of pop culture, references and banter, The Vans x Simpsons collab celebrates the beloved cartoon like never before.
Inspired by the series’ iconic moments, the collection showcases The Simpsons across a range of Vans’ unique footwear. The entire family make an appearance across the collection, as do other recurring characters from the show. Illustrating the Simpsons with references that diehard fans will love, the key pieces from the range include the Sk8-Hi and Old Skool ranges, with each of the legendary family appearing on the former’s iconic checkerboard print.
Bart, the family’s rebel, is showcased on the Men’s Chukka Pro. A Bart-sized skull and crossbones appears on the side of the shoe, which is reinforced with Vans’ Duracap material for extra resilience. Known for his antics, Bart’s legacy continues across the Sk8-Low range, with a self-portrait graffiti in his signature ‘El Barto’ style.
With eight styles being pushed out at TOWER, we’re sure there is something for every Springfielder. Paying homage to characters such as Moe and the Bouvier sisters, these characters are brought to life by Vans in ‘Old Skool’ colourways, while Itchy & Scratchy are styled in the toon-filled Era range. Lisa takes pride of place on a lavender Sk8-Hi, while Homer’s time as Mr. Plow is depicted on the Sk8-HI MTE style.
The collection is rounded off in a skate-approved Comfycush Slip-On, inspired by the Springfield’s favourite residents.
The Vans x Simpsons collaboration is now stocking at TOWER, so add the iconic family to your drip this summer.

From fashion shoots, to recording booths, we have caught up with KINGH, ahead of the launch of her debut single ‘Another Round’.
Emily O’donnell, or ‘KINGH’, is no stranger to us. We are proud to say she is part of the TOWER fam. Having collaborated with Emily many times down the years, we are used to seeing her modelling our latest drops, partyin’ at our collab events and turning heads everywhere she goes, with a look that is all her own. Marking her arrival into the music scene, dropping one of this summer’s hottest tracks, we are even prouder to introduce you to ‘Another Round’.
Ahead of its release, we caught up with KINGH to hear more about her inspirations for the single, her musical influences and what’s next.
TOWER: Hey Emily, long time no speak! What was the inspiration for Another Round?
KINGH: The main inspiration of the single is about young love, which turns into a dark obsession. The song has been three years in the works, starting when I was in a relationship and finishing when that came to an end. It aims to tackle love from both sides, touching on subjects such as vulnerability and mental health and the struggles of being open about your emotions in a young relationship.
As you may have noticed in the lyrics, the chorus represents the good of the relationship, while the verses focus on the negative impact. I really wanted to portray this juxtaposition in my song, and I was super inspired by Bonnie & Clyde, and how love can turn into an obsession.
TWR: The video is shot just down the road from both our Shoreditch HQ and our Brick Lane store. As a local artist, your London roots are reflected in the video. What does London mean to you?
K: London means everything to me. I grew up in Milan, and there isn’t much space for young developing artists in that city, whether you do music, art, fashion, whatever it may be, so I always felt the need to come back to London. In London, I found that there was so much room for young creatives, and I felt this allowed me to explore my passions. As you know, I don’t just do music, and I found that very motivating, seeing so many young people just like myself finding their own way.
If I hadn’t moved to London, I don’t think I would be doing all these things I do today, especially music.
TWR: We’ve worked with you many times down the years and our audience are familiar with you as a model and influencer, so when did you decide to make the jump to music?
K: I’ve always wanted to do music. I done music at school back in Italy, but I never really pursued it seriously. It’s quite ‘poppy’ and commercial back there, and that’s the way they teach you to sing and I feel like I’m kind of the opposite.
When I came here, I still carried on with my art and fashion because they are my main interests, but I always knew deep down I wanted to make music. I’m still finding my sound, and I think London is the perfect place for that.
I had been hanging round with people in the music industry, and one day I just decided to buy some recording kit and start laying down some sounds, now here we are!
TWR: Use your imagination, you can collaborate with one person past or present. Who would it be and why?
K: If I could choose one person to collab with, knowing my style, I would like to work with Travis Scott. Obviously, I would love to work with the icons too, like Michael Jackson, but as of now in the direction my music is taking me, I would love to make a song with Travis Scott… Or Don Toliver!
TWR: What’s next?
K: What’s next for me. I’m working on an EP currently, but I don’t want people to think I’ve abandoned the fashion world! I’m still very much involved and will continue to do so to the best of my abilities, so let’s see where that takes me.

In these unprecedented, and let’s be honest, completely bonkers times, here are our tips to getting through lockdown.
Despite lockdown measures continuing to gradually ease, we are still battling this coronavirus pandemic. With the boozers open again, it can be hard to forget that we are actually still amidst this battle.
With that in mind, we know many people across the world are struggling and it is our priority as a business to ensure all our customers are safe. We have taken extra measures in our stores to ensure social distancing is observed, so you can feel comfortable visiting.
While we are not out of the woods yet, things are beginning to look up. With that in mind, here is our three-step guide to getting through the remains of this lockdown:
Step 1: Exercise
Like many of us, life often gets in the way. Now you have the perfect opportunity to dust the cobwebs off of those running shoes you bought back in 2015, or even better yet, grab yourself a new pair!
Exercising is a great way for not only improving your physical health, but also your mental health. 30 minutes a day to keep the demons at bay.
Step 2: Treat Yourself
You deserve it. This has been a tough time for all of us, so nothing like a bit of retail therapy to do the trick.
Whether its that bit of clobber you’ve had your eyes on for a while, or that takeaway you have been craving, go for it!
If it’s a new pair of shoes you’re after, we know just the people for that… Have a look for yourself here.
Step 3: Don’t Spend All Day on Social Media
Believe us, we know how hard it can be. One minute you are on Insta, next minute you are down a 2-hour rabbit-hole looking at random conspiracy theories.
Try to limit your time in front of your screen, speak to your loved ones, read a book, learn to cook!
Although it has its benefits, social media can also have its downfalls and may affect your perception of the real world. So have a break every now and then, maybe even use that time to get some exercise in (see step 1).
We know the world feels unusual right about now.
But things are going to get better, so lets all stick together and we will get through this.
We have some exciting news coming soon. Follow us on Instagram to be the first to hear about it.
